Planning a Visit for Long-Standing Concerns

Practical steps to help you prepare for a consultation when your concern has been present for some time.

Why Planning Ahead Helps

When a health concern has been present for months or years, the consultation is likely to cover more ground — your history, what you have already tried, and how things have changed over time. A little preparation before your visit can help Dr Sri Ramulu understand your situation more quickly and make the most of your time together.

What to Gather Before Your Visit

Bring any previous medical reports, test results, or prescriptions — even from other systems of medicine. A written note of your main concerns, how long they have been present, and what treatments you have tried can be very helpful. If you are currently taking medicines or supplements, bring the names and dosages. For a full checklist, see our What to Bring guide.

Choosing Your Location

The clinic operates from two locations: Hyderabad (Mansoorabad, LB Nagar) on weekends and Suryapet on weekdays. If you are travelling from outside the city, weekday visits to Suryapet may offer a quieter pace with more flexibility. Hyderabad weekends suit families within the city. If a family member or partner is relevant to the consultation, plan for them to attend as well.

What Happens at Your Consultation

The doctor will take time to listen to your full history, ask about your daily routine, diet, sleep, and previous treatments. Long-standing concerns are not rushed — expect a thorough, unhurried conversation. Guidance is shaped around your individual situation, not a fixed protocol. For more detail, see our Your First Consultation guide.

Follow-Up and Continuity After Your Visit

For long-standing concerns, follow-up is an important part of the process. Reviews may happen in person or by phone, depending on your location. If you are visiting from another city, after consultation, follow-up medicines may be arranged for dispatch subject to doctor review, availability, and applicable requirements. Read more in our Follow-Up & Continuity and Medicine Dispatch guides.

Preparing for a Calmer Visit

If your concern has been present a long time, you may feel anxious or uncertain. That is completely normal. The consultation is a conversation, not a test. There is no need to have all the answers ready — the doctor will guide the discussion. Avoid scheduling anything immediately after your visit so you can be fully present and unhurried.
